- Nawaal AdeebPresident Radio SocietyNawaal AdeebPresident Radio Society
There’s no single word that neatly sums up Nawaal - but if there were, it would probably be driven. As President of Radio LUMS, Nawaal brings a fire that’s equal parts passion and principle. She’s someone who speaks up - for stories that haven’t been told, for people who deserve to be heard, and for what she believes is right.
You’ll find her in a hundred places at once: deep in conversation with a stranger, begging her friends to get matcha, half-laughing at a Gilmore Girls quote no one else caught.
She loves Greek mythology, but not the shiny textbook version - things like the real reason Medusa became a villain. Her love for history isn’t just about dates, revolutions, or even eating cake; it’s about people. Movements. Meaning.
Nawaal is the kind of person who’ll make you feel seen in a five-minute conversation. She’s warm, magnetic, and adamant that “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” is actually a feminist anthem.
Her head’s full of references - films, poetry, music that swings from classic rock to Billy Joel to something vaguely embarrassing from 2008 - and she’ll light up when you get one.
At her core, Nawaal believes in connection. In doing the work with sincerity. In finding the heart of a moment and turning it into something worth sharing.
- MahnoorVice President People and CultureMahnoorVice President People and Culture
Stepping into the role of Vice President People & Culture, Mahnoor is lovingly known as the Mom of Radio.
She’s the one planning the entire event, calming three panicking people (including herself), sending 17 reminders, and still doing the task herself with a smile. She’ll fix the falling standee, lose her phone in the process, and somehow hold it all together.
You’ll rarely find her sitting still. Her dil-se-HR self is always hosting, cheering, coordinating, comforting, or capturing your silly spam moment. Her joy comes from your laughter. Her ideas are endless, her memory questionable. She might forget her own deadlines, but she’ll remember yours like it’s her job (it actually is).
A hug in human form, she loves deeply, listens completely, and gives generously - even to the ones who test her last nerve.
Radio is her dil ka ghar, and she’s here to make sure it feels like home for you too. Because for Mahnoor, people and culture aren’t responsibilities - they’re instinct.
- AymaVice President Content ManagementAymaVice President Content Management
Vice President Content - fancy title, no? But really, it’s Ayma - the girl you’ve seen on Radio’s Instagram reels. Always the loudest storyteller in the room, she’s here to make your voice – and hers – impossible to ignore.
Her friends swear she’s got serious acting potential, but truth is, she’s already playing enough characters: sleep-deprived, right-brain-dominant CS major by day, campus reporter by passion, and just the eldest daughter by the end of the day.
You’ll find her freaking out over podcast scripts, demanding the angles hit, the lighting slap, the content feel — because near-perfect just isn’t enough when your brain’s wired like hers.
She’s that person turning every casual conversation into a full-blown podcast pitch, plotting stories mid-lab, mid-lecture, mid-existential crisis. She an ambivert who loves to engage (and of course overshare), though you’ll probably get ghosted on text.
Open her laptop at any given moment? Expect 3 code files, a hundred unread lecture slides, and a rogue Word doc with half-baked podcast scripts. She organizes her chaos to keep herself together. Ayma doesn’t want to chase perfection - but the grind is hardcoded.
Unapologetically herself, dangerously obsessed with making stories bold, honest, and impossible to scroll past - she believes the world needs fearless voices, the right people deserve recognition, and Radio? It should be just like her- dramatic, creative, and a little extra loud.

Hassan, the Money Man of Radio - because if there’s a number to track, a budget to break down, or a plan to execute, he’s already got an Excel sheet open for it.
Even his name has an abbreviation - because when you’re built for speed, even your syllables need to keep up. Replies come faster than your thoughts (0.01 seconds, no exaggeration), unless you’re talking about econometrics - in which case, he’s already zoned out.
Born in Lahore, but always vibing like an Islamabadi at heart (this is what 12 years of Islamabadi upbringing does to a man) - drawn to its calm, G-10 walay ghar ki chai, and obviously the capital’s aesthetic. It’s a strange blend of roots and rhythm, and he somehow balances it with ease.
His playlists? A chaotic mix of Mustafa Zahid and Three Days Grace - because no one quite captures the mood swings like they do (yes, maybe a little emo, but who’s judging? At this point he doesn’t care).
Somewhere in between the spreadsheets and mood music, he’s also got a 10/10 sense of humour - but fair warning, it only lands if you’re fluent in that very specific niche.
All in all, a walking paradox of precision and chaos, spreadsheets and songs, speed and stillness - and somehow, it all just works.
- MaryamVice President MarketingMaryamVice President Marketing
Some people bring strategy. Maryam brings strategy, soul, and a GPS record so bad she once got lost…in LUMS.
VP of Marketing at RadioLUMS, loves her team to bits (and then some), and still leads the way, even if she once said “turn left at the vibes” as legit directions.
She shows up. With ideas, energy, and a colour-coded Google spreadsheet no one asked for but everyone relies on.
Calls her team the “Pariwaar,” spreads laughter and broken, hard-on-the-ears Punjabi like glitter. (We honestly don’t know why she tries.) Brings media projects to life with the precision of a neurosurgeon who’s watched too much Grey’s Anatomy.
Now, warning: she will drop a “Tommy Hill-figure-it-out” joke like it’s a comedic masterpiece. You’ll laugh. Out of fear. Or loyalty. Maybe both.
Loves hard, works harder. Can’t find venues, but always finds the right idea, the right frame, and the right way straight into people’s hearts. The magic isn’t loud but it’s hers, and it’s everywhere.
And if you hear “cool cool cool, no doubt no doubt,” just know an idea is brewing, equal parts heart, humour, and a brain that could probably run a regression on campaign success (but won’t, because she’s humble like that).
That’s Maryam. The heart, the brain, and the beautifully chaotic energy behind the Marketing Magic.
