Experienced panellists will speak on topics pertaining to the skill of feminist legal theory and judgment writing. The aim is to introduce how judgments can be effectively re-written through a feminist perspective. The workshop will explain the various forms of feminist legal theories, jurisprudence and their place in judgments that require being re-written.

Workshop on Re-writing Supreme Court Judgments on Environmental Law

This workshop will facilitate the contributors of the Project in re-writing their specific judgments – on the theme of Environmental law. As each contributor will have submitted their abstracts on the designated judgments beforehand, these will be provided to the panelists for review. The expert panelists will then give feedback on these abstracts and guide the contributors in re-writing and brainstorming their judgment/commentary accordingly.

The Project is led by Ms. Marva Khan and Ms. Orubah Sattar, faculty members at the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law.
