<a href="http://radio.lums.edu.pk:8080">Listen to RadioLUMS</a> RadioLUMS originated in the summer of 2007 and has since then acquired a global audience to add to its stronghold of listeners on campus. Students at LUMS are known to be glued to their computers and laptops, be it for study or entertainment purposes. By launching RadioLUMS, our students have created a website which allows its users to connect with each other in a variety of creative ways. This 24hour online radio plays RJ-hosted shows as well as back to back music, has a dynamic chatroom, a message option for private requests to the RJ and a call button that enables a voice conversation with the current RJ. Due to the online nature of this unique campus radio, we have the advantage of reaching out across the campus boundaries. Our audience primarily consists of current LUMS students and more increasingly our well-spread alumni who call in regularly from various continents across the world to voice their approval and commendation on the launching of RadioLUMS. We also have an international base of lisers, with the RadioLUMS facility accessible to alumni, as well. Preparations are in place to extend the coverage to extenal networks as well and long term plan includes making the RadioLUMS channel a full time radio broadcast channel on a national and an international scale.
